oN5: A Tribute for Wood within Vancouver`s Heart

Located on the lively Mt. Pleasant neighborhood, oN5 emphasizes solid wood`s majesty and sustainability.

This 9042-square-feet treasure, originally conceived by engineer and developer Robert Malcek from Equilibrium, is a commercial-four-floor building which hosts manufacturing and varied businesses, and reflects the eclectic spirit of its surrounding neighborhood.

This building`s soul lies on its cross-laminated-timber panels (CLT) of 5 and 7 layers, being these the main structural support. Besides this, there is a solid concrete pad and masonry.

32 master panels produced by Mercer Mass Timber, which makes it 15 360 square feet bigger, were moved from the Washington state.
