Timber Parking B&O

This parking facility with several floors is mainly built with wood, with bearing elements made up of beech, laminated timber and cross-laminated timber.

The two-floor-translucent pavilion is discretely embedded in the landscape of a park surrounded by hundred-year-old trees.

An open structures was created for permeability, brightness and a user-sense of safety.

The challenge when planning was predicting certain behaviors such as movement, and the expansion and shrinkage of wood beams.
